Experiencing the country from the back seat of her father’s airplane, Tina grew up with a penchant for travel and a craving for the literature of place. A former travel and architecture writer for the Los Angeles Times Sunday magazine, she created this site as a way to combine travel and literature and share the love. She holds a master’s degree in creative writing from Antioch University Los Angeles.
A magazine, book, and web editor and a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism, Erica has made a career of reading other people’s words and making them sing. She has just begun to find her own voice, writing poetry that explores the shadow and light in her life.
After earning bachelor’s degrees in French and Humanities at California State University, Northridge, Margaret landed a scholarship to study in Provence, where she lived for two years. At home in Los Angeles, she received her master’s degree in Humanities from California State University, Dominguez Hills, with a thesis on Ian McEwan and the neo-Darwinist movement. When she’s not on the job as regional editor of a travel guide, she’s on the lookout for great French wines.
A musician, graphic artist, writer, and philosopher, Andrew has the poetic soul and artistic eye that make literature and place come together. The Los Angeles native attended California State University Long Beach and graduated from Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Between travels and gigs with his progressive metal band, Mouth of the Serpent, he lives in East Los Angeles, CA, with his fiancée, a horde of instruments, and notebooks full of ideas.
